American Education Week

Join educators all across the country November 13–19, 2005 , to celebrate American Education Week (AEW). This year's theme, "A Strong America Starts with Great Public Schools," highlights the importance of bringing together teachers, school staff, parents, students, and communities in a unified effort to build great public schools. In addition, the theme reflects NEA's vision of calling upon America to provide students with quality public schools so that they can grow, prosper, and achieve in the 21st century. You can find more information at www.nea.org. Enjoy the pen, compliments of the LMEA.

Flex Debit Card

The LMEA is aware that promises made about the convenience of using a Flex Debit Card have not been kept by Independence Blue Cross. The LMEA informed the District of the above. The District said they would investigate the situation and notify IBC.

If you are not satisfied with the Flex Debit Card by the open enrollment period to be held in late May/early June then change the amount of your contribution or withdraw.
